IITD - A DREAM COLLEGE

I only applied through jee mains and jee advanced. My main aim was to get admission to IIT DELHI or IIT BOMBAY. For admission in Mathematics and Computing program in IIT DELHI, the opening rank after JEE ADVANCED 2020 was 156 and CR was 312 for the general category.

This course provides a mathematical background with a great touch of Computer programming which plays a major role in artificial Intelligence. In IITD in any course, a single professor teaches a whole batch of students. Also, the whole batch is divided in groups of 30 and a TA is assigned to it. The teachers here are greatly qualified and are having recognition in great institutes of the world. And all of them here are masters of their own specific field. Term exams are conducted twice every semester which are referred to as major and minor along with weekly quizzes and tests. The exams here are of very good difficulty level and one can surely fail if he/she study for exams just a two or three days before only.

Big companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. Provide internship opportunities here. I specifically don't know what happens exactly in this as we are not told anything regarding this. And surely after this pandemic is over I will write about it as soon as I came to know about it.

After completion of UG 4th year student becomes eligible for campus placement and internships start from 3rd year onwards. Over 925 offers were made in 1st phase of the placement process 2020-2021 and companies like Microsoft, UBER, HCL, EXL were the highest recruiters The highest package grabbed was 1cr per annum and the average package is 16 lakh per annum Mostly all the students have got placed, so it was 100% approximately.

The fees of IITs are much less as compared to other institutes. Also, the facilities provided here are nothing in front of the fees. Moreover, there are many fee waiver criteria that can be found on the internet. Also, IITs provide the highest job packages.

The life of IITD is very enjoyable. The annual fest rendezvous is the biggest fest in India. There are so many facilities available in IITD that one may not be able to explore it even after the end of his/her last year. There is a good culture of sports and extracurricular activities too. There are many clubs like robotics, literary, debating, dancing, etc.
