Remarks

I applied for 3 or 4 colleges through reap and I got a seat in the civil branch at Government engineering college Bikaner. the admission process was simple I had nothing major problems in that process. after taking admission they started an induction programme for students so that students can be comfortable with the college and environment and I liked that activity too much. I applied through reap programme for this college and two more colleges and I took admission in this college because it was a government institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a civil branch in this college because I have an interest in civil engineering. the faculty is almost good but the classes are not regular. my branch has 70 students and faculty is available for every subject. the teaching method of some faculty are good and some faculty are not so good in teaching. exams are of medium level not so easy and not so hard and the exam conduction process is good.

students can do internship form wherever they want colleges every year provides two internship programmes. students can go to any industry for their internship program in the college areas. students also go to the industrial areas in the Bikaner and college provides enough time period for internship programs. Karni industrial area also invites students to their factories for internship programs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 32500 as admission fees after that my every sem fees is 30000. The campus is good but not so beautiful. The campus is not often cleaned. The campus feels boring because no creativity is applied while making it. The college provides very few programs of scholarship and half of the students are not informed when the scholarship program starts.

not so many annual functions are held in college. mini programs are often held in college. books are provided by the college library and we can study in the library also. The classroom is not so good they are clean but fans and duct are not available in them. sports activities are much less. few sports facilities are provided by the college. the sports ground is not that big so that everyone can play their own sports

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
