Remarks

I applied here as it is a reputed government college and is in Delhi, which is my hometown. I got admission through General Category. You need to perform well in the CAT examination, GD and PI in order to secure admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The biggest reason for doing MBA from DSM is that they offer Dual Specialisation across 6 different specialisations from Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, Operations, E-Governance. We have bi-semester programmes. The faculty is really knowledgeable.

Internships Opportunities

The variety of internships offered is across the six domains offered by the college as specialisations. There are live projects provided by the college as well. Internships are offered for the winter as well as the summer season.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements starting from the third semester. EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC are some prominent recruiters. The highest and average package offered by the college is. The placement percentage is.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Return on Investment is the best part about DSM as one can do their MBA within 4,00,000. Considering the average package which an MBA graduate gets, the ROI is really good. I am not aware of any scholarships offered. There is a dedicated placement cell that brings companies for placements and internships.

Campus Life

DSM is the first building when one enters the DTU campus. The campus area is 66 acres with a prime location in Delhi. We have the facility of sports ground, gym, library and many more things. There are a lot of eating outlets within the campus only. The campus has a hostel facility as well.

Interview Experience

My topic was is Netflix and web series better than traditional television. We were a batch of 10 people in one group out of which 4 were selected. Then I had an interview basis my personality and past experience. I prepared by studying newspaper and focusing on general knowledge. It is because of this I was able to quote the recent revenue figures of Netflix.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

DSM, DTU a great b school with great roi.

I also applied for NIRMA ahemdabad, LSBIM, FORE and main point that made me choose this college is fees. Others b school having 16-20 lakhs fees and not that great roi made me choose this college. Here fees is approx 4.8 lakhs and placement avg is also decent 9-10 Lakhs. One need to clear CAT exam and a safe percentile should be around 85. It was less last year but this year since the competition was increased due to increase in seats 85 should be a safe bet....Read More
