Remarks

I had applied to many colleges rank wise and by that list, I have secured a seat in this college with my preferred branch. Joining through the convener quota I had no difficulties with the admission process. There were few formalities to be completed ie. your information with your certificates and all. After those formalities, we were given a date to come back to college for our admission number.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

First of all Electrical engineering is an underrated course. Due to the software boom, everyone's into computer science and its related courses. Every course has its own value. I specifically chose electrical engineering because of its flexibility ie. it has a vast no of jobs in the government sector and abroad. Looking at the current scenario where everything going electric there will be a lot of opportunities for talented engineers. Even if you fail in grabbing a core job you can always go into the software field by learning a few computer languages.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Sry, I don't have much knowledge about the Internships ;( But by the end of your undergrad, you have to submit your project. These projects also help in your placement. So choose your project wisely and do it honestly instead of faking it.

Placement Experience

3

There are placement opportunities in the college. Students apply for placement in their 6-7th semester where some plan to continue for higher education. Irrelevant to your course If you interested and have good grades then you can apply for the placement program. The companies which visit the college are generally software based. Core companies generally don't visit these colleges they mostly go for tier 1 colleges like IITs, NITS. The recent highest package of 2020 was around 27 lacks per annum offered by Amazon. It was grabbed by a CSE student.

Fees and Financial Aid

For my batch 2020-2024 it's 1.10 lacks per year. But a few years ago ie for my seniors it was 80000 per year. The fee is moderate ie. It's equal to the fee collected by State engineering colleges. You can grab the fee reimbursement scholarship from the state government if applicable to you by presenting your income certificate. For the Management quota, there are many Central government scholarships you can get by applying and qualifying the requirements.

Campus Life

3

The campus is spread over a 22 acre land in the heart of the city Banjara Hills filled with lush greenery and a peaceful environment. There are many feasts in the college like ADSOPHOSE and all of which are conducted annually. I have not been to a single feast in my college because they were cancelled due to lockdown and the pandemic. There are many student clubs like MSS, TRM, ENGLISH ORATORS and more which improve your overall outcome. The college also has a great library with many books, journals to read. It also has a digital library ie. computers for your convenience.
