Most prestigious medical College

I applied for many colleges throughout Rajasthan but this was my first choice for its exposure and experienced professors. Admission is through neet examination. If you are from the general category you need atleast 600 plus score or rank around 6000 in the exam. As for the NRI quota, the college has 15 seats and the fees is 30000 dollars per year which are quite costly. The counselling process is easy. I applied through NRI QUOTA all you need is your neet documents and the list provided by the counselling website for any kind of documentation. 2nd stage is on the College campus for medical examination. The college campus is quite large and is in the heart of Udaipur city contains its own gym free of cost and indoor badminton and table tennis courts as well. The swimming pool is also present on a college campus. Fully air-conditioned library. It is one of the best MEDICAL Colleges in Rajasthan.

I always wanted to be a doctor. Each department has a quite good number of faculty as of now 20:1 ratio is followed in most departments. Each of the faculty is quite experienced and helpful. Mostly the professors are qualified doctors. The internal examination is held almost every month after completion of any topic and there are basically 2-semester exams followed by the final University exam at the end of your year.

The internship is straightforward in college. It is compulsory for medical students to follow 1year internship program in the hospital under a different specialist for field experience. The program is fully paid with a stipend of 14000 per month + DA.

The placement for doctors is quite easy, especially for one's graduating from Government Medical College. There no campus placements. Most students have to give exams for post-graduation or government job. Almost 90% of the students get placement every year.

Course for general students is reasonable around 35000 per year might hike occasionally. There are many scholarships available for girls as well as economically weak students. At the end of the course, you have a mandatory internship for 1 year paying a 14000 per month stipend from Government. The exposure in this college is extremely good.

The campus life is one of the best including the city of lakes. Many clubs are present in college like chess dance music sports etc. The college has a large campus including its own swimming pool, gym, badminton court, table tennis court and volleyball court. It also has a fully air-conditioned library and personal reading rooms.

The hostel is a bit old building with common washrooms but it is quite well maintained and is a good place to live in There are a number of messes for the students and they can eat in any of them. The hostel is affordable with a rent of 30000 per year excluding food. There is a canteen available for students. There are quite a number of PGs nearby as the college is in the centre of the city.
