Remarks

I applied to VIT University Vellore for B.com even though I scored more than 90percent in the 12th board exams I didn't get any fee reduction. Yeah, I received a quota of OBC candidates scoring more than 90 percent 12th board exams and they gave me government-aided fees. You can proceed through the application and you will be shortlisted according to your 10th and 12th marks. The admission process had a small counselling were the principal and the HOD of the department were valuation our 10th and 12th marks.

I had an interest in finance and accounting that's why I have chosen B.com. 1:20 is the faculty-student ratio. All the faculty are phd scholars. Exams are conducted not very often once in a month and had two internal exams and one-semester exam.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 3500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees which we paid is good for the college. At the time of the exam, you have to pay the exam fees. I got a scholarship from the government which reduced my second and third-year college fees. Actually, the truth is I didn't pay fees for the second and third year of my B.com due to the scholarship. And the fact is I was scoring more than 90 percent in all the semesters.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called College Day which is celebrated by the students. All the books in the library are accessible by the student through offline mode and also as well as in opac mode. There was a sports day in the college where more sports events are conducted and extracurricular activities like NSS and NCC were there. There were no social clubs in the college

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

From the 5th semester onwards the management made various efforts to conduct oncampus And they made it. Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed. My plan after degree is to place in good reputed company.

Good collage

Hi...
