Remarks
I got admission simultaneously in Charusat computer, ADIT computer, BVM IT, PDPU computer, and GCET computer. I chose GCET computer because I don't want to pursue IT and among the remaining GCET was the best option as in placement for Computer Branch. I took admission through the official ACPC process as every engineer does. The admission process is not so tough and everyone is supportive. So chill about the process you will get through it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The past course curriculum was as per GTU but for future batches, GCET will be a part of CVM university. So they release new curriculums on their website. The Computer Branch faculty is good and supportive. Many students are writing a research paper from this college every year. Priyank sir is a person with deep down domain knowledge of computer streams. In 2014, GCET robowar team won the robowar championship in IIT BOMBAY against iitians and international players.
Placement Experience
On-campus placements are good for computer and IT branches. companies visited like Infosys, Godrej, VTech solutions, etc. For placements, official data visit college site - gcet.ac.in. The location creates a very great advantage for placements because most good colleges of Gujarat are located in the same zone. so every company is interested to visit our zone to get the best graduate engineers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Campus jobs are good for IT and computer branchesGCET. Fees will be as per university guidelines. If you are a Gujarat origin student then you will have a chance to get avail scholarship of 50,000/- and 12,000/- for hostel every year from the government. 12,000 scholarship from Zilla panchayat.
Campus Life
Techfest- IMAZE A huge library is available. The most classroom has fan and projectors. Only the auditorium and computer lab have AC. All clubs and committees in GCET are run by a student with the guidance of a faculty coordinator.
