Remarks

I didn't apply for any other colleges as there was a pandemic situation and leaving the hometown would not have been a very good decision. PRNVEER SINGH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is regarded as one of the best private colleges in UP. I opted for B.Tech here with Computer Science as my branch. There were the criteria of having a minimum of 75% in your class 12th and for the age, there were no such criteria but obviously, it's understood. As for the counseling process we were asked to send them a video telling about ourselves and after that, we had one to one interview round and the result was told after few days.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opted for Computer science with data science as my specialization. I chose this course as it came out to be so appealing and growing in the near future. No other colleges in UP offered any kind of specialization in computer science. There is a good faculty-to-student ratio. Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely experienced. The way they convey, they teach is appreciable. Some of the teachers here are Ph.D. in their own subjects, some have their degrees completed from foreign universities as well. As for the examinations, the exams are conducted very timely regular assignment, class tests are held. As the tests are conducted on a regular basis with a suitable time gap its easy to prepare for the tests and external examinations so the exams don't come at us like a burden and if you were regular in the class, the questions asked in the examinations would seem to be easy for you.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I am still in my first year so I don't have too much knowledge about internships, projects, etc. Due to this covid situation, we dint get our summer break so had no time for doing any projects too. Even the usual semesters of 6 months were completed in 3 months due to lack of time.

Placement Experience

3.5

The students get eligible almost in the third year for the placements. Most of our seniors got placed at the end of the third year. Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and many other famous companies visit the college. The highest package offered was 26 LPA (but that was off-campus). The average package is about 5-6 LPA. Almost 90% of the students get placed(I would like to add that placements totally depend on how hard you studied and worked too).

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the course of B.Tech here are likeable and not that costly as compared to other private universities. There are opportunities of getting scholarships and financial assistance, though I dint applied for any of them so I can't answer about this in that much detail.

Campus Life

3.5

The college has two libraries with a vast collection of books. You can issue books and renew the issue time period online only. The classroom is fully equipped with ac. Pretty clean classrooms with acceptable arrangements. Playgrounds, open field, and Greenery everywhere, the surrounding is pretty refreshing. As for the events and fest, due to this Pandemic situation, nothing was organized last year. But as heard from the seniors, fests and events here are exciting, warming and the best the Freshers could ever get.

Interview Experience

3.5

We were asked to send a video, telling us details about ourselves. After that, an interview round was conducted and the questions related to what course/stream we opted are asked to know if we have at least a little bit of knowledge of why we are opting for that particular course only. As far I remember, a minimum of 75% was asked for the CS branch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
