I have just shared my experiences that i have been through

So I was new in the city and was searching for a really good government college and been through lots of sites and research and found out some of the great colleges listed below : 1.Global Institute of science and tech. 2.Panskura banamali 3.Prabhat Kumar 4.Bengal school of science and tech. 5.Hijli college 6.Midnapore autonomous college And throughout the selection process, there were some basic points I had to keep in mind while choosing ( good infrastructure, well-reputed, that fits in budget ofcourse) And thats where I found that this autonomous college fulfills all the factors. So basically admission is taken as per the merit lists system and I have been listed in the first list itself and the year I opted (i.e. 2020) for there was 6 merit list and it keeps on fluctuating on grounds of the availability of seats in a particular course. Apart from this college demands a 12th pass out with 50% marks and mathematics in subjects.

I always wanted to be a software engineer and that's why I chose BCA (as I was from Commerce). Teachers here are well qualified and very kind-hearted though I haven't attended any physical class as far as I experience till now it was not very disappointing. Due to pandemic, they adjust the date but the term exams are taken within 6 months of the starting

The fees here are 10,600 for a semester which I think is quite good (they charge for several things which include tuition fee, lab fee, etc. You get a scholarship of 18000 rs/year Name -svmcm And there are other scholarship as well but the college allows for only one

Can't really tell about it as of now I didn't spend a single day in college. But I have heard of many curriculum activities carried and they also focus on the overall development of a child thats the reason u will get to do anything like wanna learn to dance, sing, play anything there are courses that you can opt. There are many social groups including NSS. But I will update this section as soon as I get more info
