Iit- many people's dream

The admission process was a quite taxing, and a busy process. It happened last year in the month of October immediately after giving jee advanced. Rather collegedunia gave my guidance and utmost clarity to select my dream college and course. It provides reviews of different colleges and aal round quality there which helped me.

I chose this course because I am pretty much interested in material science and engineering. The science of materials and their properties intrigues me a lot. The faculty-student ratio here is quite good. Last week only QS rankings were released in which the faculty-student ratio of IIT Delhi was given a score of 70/100. And was rated in the top 50 colleges in this respect all over the world. The quality of the faculty is also over the top. They are qualified and are masters in their field and subject. The exams are held regularly and the difficulty level of IIT is also justified

Our college provides us with many internship opportunities. It has a tnp cell where you get to experience internship opportunities in top companies like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Holtec, etc. You get to learn new skills and it also helps you in your placement experience

Placement Experience: The placements here are one the best features of the college. It is the heart of the college, most of the people who come here leave with 2-3 jobs in their hands, and most of them are quite well-paying jobs. The students in the final year are eligible to sit at placements and have to register themselves at OCS (offer of career services), The average placement is about 8-9 lac per annum, even for non-tech jobs. highest ranging up to 30-35 LPA from Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Microsoft. Many students who don’t opt for placements have a lot of chances to go for higher studies, either here or abroad.

The fees here per year amount to a sum of Rs 2,24,000. It is quite justified because of the amount of money and resources that iit invests in its students over a period of 4 years. They provide you with high-quality faculty, research equipment which are world class and also different facilities like sports, etc.

Because of the online semester, campus life has not yet started. But since I have onboarded the hostel on special requests, I have pretty much got to experience the hotel life. Because of the pandemic and online teaching, we have not had any fests or events but still, it has quite a roller coaster ride. The library here also provides you with every book which you can issue on an interim period. Also, iit Delhi has world-class stadiums of cricket and football and other sports and also gives us an opportunity to play there. Inter competition are also organized

Many facilities are provided in the hostel. But the hostels are still like any other hostels in India. The campus is quite lovely and full of trees which allows enjoying the fresh air in hostels. mess food quality especially of our hostel is quite good but it is still not up to the mark. For the hostel, you have to request the Dean.
