Remarks
I applied for Panimalar Engineering College and I got the same. I had not availed of any quota for admission. I went offline counselling in the year 2014. The admission process was based on the rank list and the slot time provided for counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had an interest in the Electrical and Electronics department. They had a better faculty student ratio. All the faculties were well educated with a better experience. Exams will happen on time with proper instructions and papers will be moderate to tough.
Internships Opportunities
Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Vyomlabs, Stanadyne, Sutherland, Bonfiglioli, Wipro are companies offering fresher roles. Based on the performance projects were assigned and depending on their involvement.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year-end, we were eligible for placements. There is a number of companies visiting from huge companies to startups. The packages from 2 LPA. 90 percentage students got placed on-campus. Doing Master degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was 2018 passed out and my fee was 1,25,000 per year. Hostel accommodation fees per year were 50,000. I didn't avail of any scholarship, but there is a scholarship for first graduates. There is financial assistance for toppers for each semester.
Campus Life
There is a big central library and each department have their own library. Classrooms were well ventilated with better equipment for study. Each class have projectors. There is a huge opportunity for volleyball players.
Hostel Facilities
Each room has an attached toilet bathroom and separate cots for four members with open and closed cupboards. Food will be very good and have a different menu for each day. The hostel was affordable since 50000 per year with lots of facilities like laundry, ironing, etc.
