One of the best college of Uttar Pradesh

I applied for various government colleges through JEE entrance examination paper but I was not able to attend because my score was not appropriate enough. I did not avail any quota for admission. The admission criteria were very simple and clean. I was judged on the basis of my percentage in class 12th and 10th, where the minimum percentage required, was around 70%, and accordingly, I was allotted the computer science department. I was also judged on my personality skills as well as my presentation skills. There was also a test conducted where we were asked questions and were judged accordingly. This was all included in the administration process.

I chose B.Tech as my graduation course because the career opportunities are high in technical and managerial fields. Any engineering graduate can hope to get a good job in the public or private sector anywhere around the world. Also, I believe that the things one is passionate about bring inner harmony and joy in our day-to-day lives. Thus I chose to embark on this journey. Every class has about 60-65 students. Since my first year, all the teachers that I have been taught by were exceptionally good and hard-working teachers with excellent qualifications. Every semester I had 3 class tests and 4 assignments and they were fairly difficult and were up to the standards of a professional college exam.

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini and many more visit our college. Average packages range from 3-3.5 lakhs per annum whereas the highest package can go up to 12 lakhs per annum. About 2/3 students are placed successfully. I plan to go ahead with post-graduation after my graduation completes.

The cost to study is totally acceptable. I am currently pursuing my 3rd year in B.Tech and am not currently placed with any company. Since the first year of college, I have not applied for any scholarship because I was not eligible to do so. Also, my family is well sufficient thus I did not need any financial assistance.

The annual fest that is conducted in our college goes by the name "Ignitia" and is conducted in the month of February. There are surplus books and magazines available in my college which are freely used by the students. My college environment is very comfortable and harmonious which is very helpful for my studies. There are many sports played on my campus like football, basketball, etc. There are many groups, clubs, and activities run by the students of PSIT.
