Remarks
1. Applied for Charusat Changa University but SVIT was in less distance from my place. 2. Admission was on the basis of merit according to Gujcet. 3. Admission process was very subtle not much paperwork.
Course Curriculum Overview
1. I've chosen Information technology because of its vast field reach and good placements. 2. There are sufficient faculty members according to the student ratio. 3. Most of the faculty members have pursued masters in this field and with great conceptual knowledge. 4. Exams and viva's were taken once per sem for internal marking.
Internships Opportunities
1. Many companies come for the internship and some will be paid and some will be unpaid. They can offer up to 15k / month stipend and with many roles like developer, data science, QA, etc. 2. You can also pursue your last year's project with a tie-up with companies.
Placement Experience
1. In 7th-semester students become eligible for the placements. 2. Many companies come for placement in the IT dept like Jeavio, Zeus learning, Linde, etc. And can offer up to 6 LPA. 3. Highest package from the 2021 passout batch is 5.75 LPA. 4. Almost every student gets placed somewhere but given that they don't want to conduct higher studies further. 5. Pursing job.
Fees and Financial Aid
1. Fees hike was not there in the duration of 4 years it was constant as 74000 per year. 2. I got placed in xcitech technologies vadodara as a software developer. And I didn't take any financial aid but MYSY is there if anyone wants to take the aid.
Campus Life
1. Annual fest at svit is Prakarsh which is well recognized. 2. Library contains ample books for reference purposes. 3. Class has enough bench and well ventilated. 4. Sports is given importance as much as academics. 5. There are many clubs according to department like Coding club for the IT dept which conduct different seminars, workshops, hackathon, etc.
