Remarks

Great place, everything is properly managed, non-bias system, I have not applied any quota, minimum marks is 37 out of 100. I got 88 marks in the entrance test. I have given an exam on the 10th base so I have not applied for any other exam as it is the best option after the 10th. A simple and easy understandable way of the admission process is here. The form is available online on the site hau.ac.in. This place has a incredible faculty very cooperative . You will feel familiar here

Course Curriculum Overview

Agriculture is the biggest sector of India and it is the sector that will never stop as food, fibre, and processed products are our basic needs. It is the biggest sector for seeking business as an entrepreneur. Exams occur 2 times a semester. It's a moderately tough exam but anyone can pass out if having the mental ability. The faculty to student ratio is 10:100.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Internships Opportunities

FMC, UPL ,JU offers internships in-between degree time. Many entrepreneurship projects, NAHEP, NABARD under their supervision are conducted. ELP projects, RAWE programme , READY programme. In RAWE program stipend of 50000 is given to students

Placement Experience

Final semester. Company name - Bayer, FMC, UPL, IDFC JU, and many more. 20% of students getting placements. Highest package 6 lac per annum Plans after the degree is going for business as an entrepreneur in agriculture business

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very low everyone can afford it easily. The top 15% students of total students in class get scholarships. Many companies came on campus for jobs. But they are not that upto the mark. So I will give less rank to this insitute in terms of placement

Campus Life

Life at the campus is so wonderful. Many clubs, functions occur on regular basis. Help the students to show their caliber on different stages in different ways. Proper development of students is done here. A nice place to visit, live and study. I recommend you to visit at least one time in your life

Their is placement but not very good placement the average placement is 4 LPA. They can increase their placement ratio by having better companies bond relationship. Highest placement was 9 LPA Nearly 7-10% Student get placement. My plan after degree is to continue further studies from different universities.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong to a farming family and my wish to improve the traditional agricultural practices my family is using and to help the farmers community and serve as a gem to our motherland is the main reason which motivated me to take this course. All the faculty members are well qualified and are working as assistant scientists or scientists. Their practical knowledge is really great and they teach with a lot of interest, students are also keen to learn the new aspects of farming. One semester is completed in 6 months and mid term exams takes place within 3 months after that final exam takes place. It's not much difficult to pass the examination just a good knowledge of the subject is required.

It is a reputed university. Have a good education facility and agriculture course. That's why I choose this university. Also this University have an affordable fees structure and a very neat and clean enviroment in campus.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
