Remarks
To get admission to this college one has to give Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). And then have to appear through GUJACPC and then shortlisting is done in which one has to be in the top 70 applicants. Normally one should score more than 93 percentile. The main reason to get into this college is its fees and ROI. Also, the college location is in one of the developed areas of Ahmedabad.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our batch has a strength of 110. The student-faculty ratio is 8:1. The faculties are experts and have much experience in the teaching field. Due to the pandemic, they have to take online lectures and give their best in those. They come with new technology to make us learn new concepts. Every week we are introduced with some interesting case studies which are then discussed during lectures. Exams are taken twice in the semester and also other activities are done during lectures like a debate, presentation giving, etc.
Internships Opportunities
This year there was an option given to the students. They can go for Work from home opportunity or have to go for a research project. For internships, the companies which came to campus were Tenhard Pvt Ltd., Red wall Pvt ltd, Shine projects, Outlook magazine, Ashok chemicals, ICICI bank, etc
Placement Experience
The placements were quite good till 2019 but then are affected due to the pandemic. According to the latest data, 79 percent of students were placed, For the marketing field, the placement was 95 percent. Many startups and local companies also supported placement drives and gave placements to 2-3 students each. Big companies like ICICI Bank , HDFC Bank , ITC , Outlook Magazines , Torrent pharma, etc visited and the average package was 6 lacs, while the highest was 10 lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here are the most important. As it is government afflicted the fees are very nominal. Also due to very less fees, one can use money in learning new things other than regular lectures. One can do online courses which are available on different platforms.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest that takes place every year on the campus. But this year due to the Covid pandemic it was digital. The name of the fest is RENAISSANCE. In 2021 the major sponsor was VIVO. Other than this many clubs are there and all clubs are very much active. The clubs are for marketing, operations, drama, dance, music, finance, photography, etc. There is a library on the campus that has more than 7000 books.
