I appeared for the UPSEE entrance exam it was an entrance exam conducted by Uptu till 2020 in which I scored 40k rank. I applied for various colleges like Shri Ramswaroop, Babu Banarasi Das, United college I didn't attend these as I'm from i middle-class family so it was not possible for me to afford college fee, hostel fee as well as my daily requirements so I opted for this college as it was convenient to travel and its the best college in Kanpur for good infrastructure, qualified faculty, numerous activities to enhance your extra curriculum and good placement opportunities. The admission criteria were to have PCM in class 12th with a minimum of 60% score in PCM. As I applied through counseling I had scheduled counseling on a specific day, but usually, when you inform the college about your allotment they ask you to come early as that makes it convenient for them and us to go through the admission process. The admission is simple you just have to get your documents verified from Sir/Ma'am.

Faculties of Psit are very much qualified and have good teaching experience in their respective fields. The faculties teach well and focus on the method of teaching very much so that the students can understand properly and do well in the various exams. Regarding exams, Psit has four assignments two class tests, and one pre-university. Assignments take place every month, cts after every two assignments, and pre-university at the end of every semester. The assignment is comparatively easy in regards to CTs. CTs are tough and you have to score well in these exams as they give internals on the basis of your marks and attendance. You can easily pass assignments as they contain fewer marks and have an easy to moderate difficulty level. Class tests too are of fewer marks but the difficulty level goes from moderate to difficult and faculties don't do lenient marking in-class tests. If you have written correctly you will get good marks. Lastly is the PU which is of 100 marks and has all syllabus

The fees of the various courses increase every year by 10k to 20k, for the new admissions. Every year they charge a fee of 1.70k withktu fee. If you are not financially stable then you can have a talk with the officials to pay the fees in installments. They provide two installments for the payment of the fees before the year ends. If you enroll in college through a merit list then they give scholarships on the basis of your percentage in the internals so score well in each semester in the range of 80-85 percentage then you have a good chance that you will continue to receive the benefit, of the scholarships provided by the college. The second option through which you can get financial stability by opting for, scholarship provided by the up government by filling the form for the same. You can also take admission by applying various quotas to get some discounts on the fees. You can appear in various scholarship exams conducted by the government to get, the scholarships to make yourself stable

Campus life is awesome at Psit. They have various fest including their annual fest Ignitia in which every year they have a special chief guest. Many Actors and singers have visited Psit from our film industry. Even Political personalities of our countries have visited. They have various tech fests and workshops that enhance the personality and maintain the enthusiasm of the students of the institute. They have a fully equipped library with various books and journals of various fields that can be accessed by the students anytime. They have a sports event Footprint that has various sports including badminton, volleyball, basketball ball etc, you can participate in them and can win exciting prizes. Classrooms are equipped with comfortable seats, a projector, and Air conditioner for providing convenient environments to the students. In every month or two it has various extra-curriculum on-campus activities It has various clubs that can be joined for enhancing your personality or your talents .
