I joined this college via rank in EAMCET. During counselling I had choice of SVNE, Tirupati and NBKR, Nellore. I choose NBKR due to location advantage. Well, after completing the course I felt it's more than just a location advantage.

Curriculum is more or less common across the state for each branch. As an elective we had Hydro power plant Engineering. That was an interesting subject to study. Every subject is designed to imbibe fundamentals in students. Be it elective or any other subject the college chooses the curriculum based on the faculty expertise and current trend.

No, the college didn't had internship when we were studying. Not sure about the current situation. If you are really interested in an external internship faculty will always help you out.

We had lot of placement opportunities. Back in 2005, over 140 out of 720 people got selected in the first company that visited our college. Notice able company that visited during 2005 are Congnizant Technology Solutions, Otis Elevators, Zoho (Then Adventnet), Convergys.

We have Sports club, Literary club, Music club that conduct quarterly events. Almost every student will be a member of at least one of the clubs. Every member ship is free and can be chosen as per the wish of the student. Every year there will be one combined event (Ecs tatica 2k6 - during our time) by all the clubs.

There are lot of scholarships for each. At our time top three from each branch were given a 100% fee exemption based on a scholarship. College had lot of tie-ups alumnus and works towards the scholarship facilities.

The Exam structure was very flexible. We always had one day off for each exam. We used to play cricket tournaments on that alternate day and start reading the next day. All we do is just revise. Exams are real fun time for us. Faculty help us to do practice sessions for lab related exams.

I joined this college via rank in EAMCET. All you have to do is attend the counselling and fill the ranking preference of the college and the branch you aspire. When your rank comes up during the counselling, based on the seats available, you will be allotted a seat.

The faculty are very polite, responsible and patient. All you need is attention during the classes and 2-4 hrs brush up before the exam and you are ready to secure 70%. The level of teaching is so intricate. The practical explanation of specialised subjects (Electrical motors) by the faculty is absolutely awesome.
