Applied to Christ and CMR. Cleared the Christ entrance exam but poor performance in the Interview led to rejection. Minimum of 12th pass. The admission process is straightforward and simple. You just need to go to the admission desk and ask the person there, they will guide you through everything.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is well qualified. The teaching method is good. Term exams are conducted twice a year and without proper preparation, they are hard to pass. There are two internal examinations before term exams and you need to have a minimum of 75% attendance and minimum Combined Internal marks to be eligible to appear for the term exam.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from the 5th semester. Wipro, TCS, SAP labs, and various other companies come for recruitment. The highest package last known was 6L per annum. About 80% of students get placed and the rest usually aim for higher studies before starting their career. I plan to do a master's in CyberSecurity or Computational Finance before pursuing a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was little to no fees hike. The cost to study isn't expensive if you already have a laptop/PC to run your programs on. However, even smartphones can be used to execute the programs. Haven't got a job since I started college hence no comments on the job/stipend.
Campus Life
No fests are conducted but there are programs every Friday conducted by the various club where you can showcase your talent, gain knowledge or enjoy the program. Plenty of books and journals available in the library. Classrooms are decent but could have a makeover for a more pleasant view and learning atmosphere. The basketball court is inside the campus and we also have a cricket team and there are competitions throughout the year for students to participate and show their potential in fields of sport. Rotary club and Wiztech are few clubs run in the college.
