I got 99 out of 120 in rajasthan pre engineering test(RPET-2008) I choose chemical branch first but in second year I shuffled to mining branch due to higher rate of placement in this perticular branch.

Course structure of this college is same as IIT Roorkee so mechanical civil and electrical students in no. of selection in IES are on second position in india syllabus is now getting older some new chapter need to be added still this college not updated its syllabus according to time.

College send student to other companies but no stipend is provided the training and placement cell arrange training for most of the student.

200 percent placement in mining branch in companies like Coal india ltd, Vedanta shree cement anbuja cement hidistan copper. overall 70 % percent placement in IT and CS is 95%. problem in electronic and PI. adobe is the highest paying in IT. in minig coal india give 9 lakh pakage vedanta 6 lakh adobe 12 lakh in it.

This college is full of enjoyment you can found there many festival like cultural technical etc there u will found renowned team and actors from Bollywood poet etc sports are conducted at all india level many participants come from whole india cultural festival lime Eureka are famous in whole community of students in india.

In 2008 I paid 18000 yearly but now it has been increased but not much as IITs and other private college hostel fees is also not much higher compared to other it was only 5000 annually at that time in 2008 but hostel are not maintained as according to image of college.

Alumni of college provides many types of scholarships to poor to topper etc no loan is provided by college bank can easily give loan by name of college.

Labs are outstanding and equivalent to IITs sports facility are not up to the mark workshops are good many workshop are conducted by students also like on robotics etc politics is on its high because University conduct elections debuts are conducted on many topics regularly.

Poor standards of hostel sharing room and few seats jodhpur is a big and nice city there are easily available PG rooms at affordable rate like from 1500 to 4000. near college in one km radius rooms are easily available and mess for food so no problem if hostel not allotted.

As I am working in coal india here alumni of college are very helpful many alumni of our college are at prestigious post in many organisations.

Chilled out exam structure. I think this the only college in india where is such type of structure is. only semester exam there. no mid sem or assignment. so u chill for 5 month in each sem you need not to bother about examination much before. but in examination time u have to work hard.

form feeling process for RPET usually starts in january in online mode. exam is conducted in whole rajasthan offline. conselling in online mode. all process regarding fee deposit is on RPET website. the process of admission os not much complicated. most of the process is online.

Not sufficient faculty but the faculty is highly qualified experienced and research oriented some faculty are very interested in teaching and some are busy in their business but overall faculties are outstanding in mining deptt only three professor are outstanding.
