Remarks

I chose this college because this college is the best in my state. I didn't apply for any quota. The minimum marks for my program were 75% and the age required was 16 above. The admission process was very easy and smooth. We just have to give our personal details and documents for the admission process. I preferred this college over the others due to the following reasons: 1. Best college of Bihar. 2. The infrastructure of the college is very very good and fascinating. 3. The teachers here are so helpful and encouraging. 4. The commerce faculty of the college is the best. 5. The college fests and functions are one of the best in the state. Although it is one of the best colleges, still it has some bad aspects like: 1. The attendance requirement is very high. 2. The teachers are a bit strict. 3. The workload is very heavy.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose B.Com Hons. because I'm a student of commerce background and I have a deep interest in this field. Choosing B.com Hons. at this level would surely do me good in future. The exams were offline but we didn't face any trouble in giving the exams because we were well informed beforehand by the college facilities. All the teachers are well qualified and professional. There are 6 semesters and we all really need to study hard for scoring well in all the semesters. The faculty and students share the same level of understanding, rather the teachers are more understanding.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

We don't get multiple options but we do get good options such as shine projects which have their affiliation from DU, un-school, Aashman foundation etc. As we all know pandemic is all over the world so we can't get out and do works so they provide online workshops and stipends. Work like to promote them all over our social media.

Placement Experience

4

We get to apply for placements from sem 4 and are offered by various companies. The package goes to 300000 and lowest goes to 200000. My plans are nowhere ordinary, just going with the flow. The percentage of students should be around 80% approximately for getting a good placement. My plans are either to work in a multinational company or to get a government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

As compared to other colleges in my state, this college is a bit costly but it's worth all the funds. We need to pay approximately 3 lakhs for 3 years. It provides various opportunities for stipends and campus selection.

Campus Life

4.5

Life is so unfair. We landed in a time where there is nothing but pandemic all over the world. We cannot use the benefit of having a good campus. So missing campus life is obvious. My college provides various fest and we all enjoy that. There are two big libraries having all the useful books. It also provides sports at the national level. There are various sports one can enroll in like basketball, kabaddi, kho kho, etc. There are various social groups in my college.

Currently not many as Bihar hardly have industries but our college has made some connections and therefore those industries come for placements. However only 30-35% students are placed and not many as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free.

Nothing influenced me yet i just have to go for it because of my graduation . Yes they prepare you good enogh for the rat race you are gonna do in coming future . The curriculam is a joke they will put information today and you have to get today only . I would suggest some of the rules and regulations should be maintained by the staffs and students even with teachers. Exams should in such manner no student can atleast face problems regarding admit cards and can cheat . there is no difficulty in in mid one but final one .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Com curriculum at LNMU around 7.5/10 for relevance and coverage. I chose this course because it included all the important commerce subjects needed for government exams, higher studies like MBA, and basic professional courses. The syllabus builds a good theoretical foundation, but it lacks practical exposure like Tally, GST or real industry projects. Teaching methods are simple and could be improved with more modern, interactive approaches. Exams are held twice a year and follow predictable patterns, so the difficulty level is moderate. With notes and regular study, most students clear them easily.

Big 4 and some manufacturing companies who have large scale accounting are the ones who have partnered with college to get them the real workforce for their organisation. A lot of girls from our college who secured jobs from campus have helped the college build network and make sure every year maximum girls are placed from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly the college doesn't prepare students for the real world. Teaching methods of the teachers are okay but it doesn't help in the real world competition. No extra curricular activities are held for students. College gives enough time for preparation for the examination. Anyone can pass easily in this college.
