I applied for one more college apart from SDBCT, but unfortunately, it didn't provide me with the field I wanted to be in(CS). That is why I opted for SDBCT wherein I got admission in CS(Computer Science). I didn't avail any quota for admissions, they are purely based on academic results. The admission criteria were above 55% marks in class 12. I far as I am aware there was no such age barrier. The admission process was quite smooth, I visited the college campus itself where the counsellor explained to me everything about the college, fee structure, studies, faculty and everything. I personally, liked every detail about the college and then there was no such doubt and I immediately joined the SDBCT group.

I opted for this course because since my schooling days I had a very keen interest in computers, I studied Java and MySql in my school which fascinated me and I wanted to learn more about it, apart from this, I was inclined to Mathematics. So I thought this course would be the best for me. Talking about the student faculty ratio, it is approximately 30:1. All the faculties are masters in Technology with a minimum experience of 3 years. The teaching method is very good, faculties pay attention to each student and try to solve all their doubts before time. Exams are conducted on a regular basis from Tutorials to MST's, giving us a nice glimpse of the exam pattern and preparing us for the RGPV exams. There are a total of 4 Tutorials and 2 MST's conducted per semester. The exams are not difficult to pass if one has studied enough.

Coming on to campus placements, the students become eligible for campus placements from the pre-final year i.e., 7th sem. From 7th sem onwards the training is started for cracking campus placements. The top companies which visit are TCS Digital, Hexaware, ByJuy's, Nagarro. The highest package is 12 LPA and the average package is 4.05 LPA. There are about 65% of students placed. I am also planning and preparing for campus placements.

The fee structure at SDBC is affordable enough to be paid. There is a scholarship scheme available for SC, ST, and OBC students and central sector scholarship is also available for general students whose score was above specified criteria in class 12.

Tech fest is organized every year around march-April. There are many activities organised in the event like coding competitions, technical quiz and many more fun activities like face painting, follow the line etc. This year it was all online due to COVID but the fun was no less in "FREQUENCY 2021". They came out with many more new activities this time. The campus has a big library with more than 50,000 books for each subject, the students can take advantage of the library to learn more. The classrooms are large and spacy making it comfortable to learn. The ventilation is proper with many big windows that let in the fresh air. There is a big basketball ground on the campus to facilitate the healthy lifestyle of students. Apart from the annual tech fest, there is also a sports event organised. There are several groups that are run by students such as the coding club for the technical growth of students.
