MIET - A bright Future

I am a student from Meerut who completed my 12th standard from K.L International I applied for different colleges like kiet and Jss Noida and Du also got selected in them but I preferred MIET over them because it is near to my house. Moreover, admission criteria are very good you have to secure 75% and above in PCM for selection. It has a great infrastructure with all available facilities and nice student and teacher coordination... Moreover, I got the entry through upsee I secured 21K rank and got easily selected in the branch I opt for that was electronics and Communication ... The admission process is as easy as bread on butter u just have to fill the form give the required documents and pay the fee and it's all done. I really liked college because of extraordinary support from teachers and anti-ragging programs as well as an emphasis on extracurricular activities...

I choose the course BTech because it was a technical course and I wanted to go into the research and development field and by choosing BTech specially E.C.E there are several options u can opt for and make your Career in your interested field ie I wanted to be a scientist in Isro and what's better than being an engineer first so that you could get a deeper knowledge of your career option. The faculty-student ratio is excellent there is almost a 1:50 faculty-student ratio i.e to every student there is more than one student available which I feel is an outstanding thing so that every student gets a mentor, as well as all of them, are well-qualified Ph.D.'s as well as Mtech from IIT and some of them are IITians as well. The exams were taken on a frequent basis so that students gets a habit of them hence they were not difficult to pass rather easy and lenient as per University criteria..

The companies offer different kinds of role whether it is content writing to social media marketing to Human resource (HR) or related to the technical field like IoT , RPA and many more related to core job sectors like VLSI and MAC and many more with whooping stipends like 5000-10000, etc Different project like home automation, gps tracker and biometric sensor are the project made by Students of our college.

There are a lot of companies that visited the campus for placement either it is related to your core or to IT sectors like Wipro ,TCS , byju's , samsung , micromax ,hexaware etc .There is a very high percentage of students getting placement like more than 75 % of people in E.C.E branch got placed this year on a highly motivating package. The highest is 75 lakh per annum and the average being 3.6 lakh per annum. The students became eligible for placement at the starting of their fourth year and gets placed till the mid sem. My plans after getting the degree are to become a research and developer for ISRO or DRDO and work for the nation...

There is an easy fee breakdown structure that is not difficult to understand. Moreover, there is no fee hike for the first year it is 1,25,513 and for the other consecutive years it gets reduced to 1,06,513 which is a good thing for all the students ... Also every student can get a scholarship the criteria is simple each student is applicable for it as it is not that much difficult and those who are really in need can get large amount also depending upon the financial condition of students... Also, there are placement coordinators whom u can contact for intership and job placements they are easily reachable and can assist you in a better way

There are different social groups available in our college like the Society of Electronic and Engineers which I am part of and is Aicte affiliated it enhances the student beyond circular and increase the participation in nontechnical and sports activities. There is three centrally placed Library which has a whopping stock of books which are easily issuable to students. Also the amenities are very good and there are lots of sports activities and social groups like Robotics ,VlSI , mac etc...
