IMS, Ghaziabad

I applied for TMU but did not attend it because I came to know through the alumni that they do not provide regular classes for MCA courses, I did not avail any quota but I got admission through UPSEE and scored 210 marks out of 400. More than 50% marks in graduation were required for admission in IMS.

I chose this course because I find computer applications interesting and it is in demand for many coming years. There are many faculties for providing proper attention to the students. Every department has a sufficient number of mentors and the faculty-student ratio is balanced. Teachers in IMS are very well qualified completed PHd and having experience of an average of 15 to 10 years. There are 2 class tests in one semester and one final semester exam. It is easy to attain good marks if you have attended all the classes.

Companies that provide internships are Infosys, savex, timesjobs, test prep karts, etc. After having internship programmes 130+ companies recruit the students. Students get a great opportunity to experience and complete projects with summer internships and training.

From the 2nd semester itself, the students become eligible for placements. Companies that recruit students are Amazon, Deloitte, HCL, Airtel, Capgemini, IIFL, Godrej, etc, and more than 309 offers are made. The highest package is 16 lacs and the average package is 10 lacs. The profiles offered are software developer, Senior manager, HR, etc. 85% of the students got placed in 2020. My plan is to get placed in a reputed Multinational Company.

Fees for one semester are 60 thousand and there was no hike in the fee structure in the past few years. method of teaching and quality of study is quite efficient. The job roles that you may get are software engineer, software developer, web developer, etc.

There is an annual cultural fest named "Melange" at the university, the library at IMS have more than 5350 online/full-text journals, 811600 e-books with discussion rooms Classrooms are very neat and tidy with good furniture and other required amenities. A sports meet named "Spardha" is organized every year and there are competitions for many extra curricular activities like dance singing art etc, There are finance, marketing , operation club etc.
