Everything you need to know about PSIT, kanpur

I dint applied for any other colleges as there was a pandemic situation and leaving the hometown would not have been a very good decision. PRANVEER SINGH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is regarded as one of the best private colleges of UP. I opted for B.Tech here with Computer Science as my branch. There were the criteria of having a minimum of 75% in your class 12th and for the age, there were no such criteria but obviously, it's understood. I did not avail any quota for admission. I had also appeared in the UPSEE exam and my rank was also a criterion that was considered for my admission and branch. As for the counselling process, we were asked to send them a video telling about ourselves and after that, we had one to one interview round and the result was told after few days.

Pranveer Singh institute of technology, Kanpur is one of the most recognized colleges in UP therefore I chose the BTech computer science, data science course. Data science is a highly lucrative career option therefore I chose to explore this course. The faculty are very knowledgeable and supportive as well as an idea of the project is welcome anytime. During this pandemic situation with so much syllabus to cover they are giving their best

The fees structure for my course is decent. For early the fees is 175000 which can be paid in a maximum of two instalments. There are opportunities for scholarship and financial assistance in college. As heard from the seniors, almost most of the students get placed in their third year. The average package is about 5-6 LPA. The lowest package is about 3 LPA and the highest was 26 LPA(but that was off campus). As for the placement, I would like to say that many companies visit the college and it's totally up to the students how they have prepared for that. Almost 90% of the students get placed every year. So the placement records are pretty good.

The infrastructure at PSIT is eye captivating and really good. There is greenery all over the campus and it is built in a safe location. The college has two hygienic canteens, a library, ground, and hostels for girls and boys. The classes and the buses are well equipped. There are also many clubs and websites for students run by students but due to the current pandemic situation, they have not been that active. The library is open for students all the time to encourage them to increase their interest in books and journals for any subject or field.
