The admission process is by 12th Board marks and GUJCET marks. The admission is done through the ACPC admission commission and they give us to rank based on 60 % of 12th marks and 40% of GUJCET marks and give us ACPC rank. We can also take admission based on JEE through the management quota. Approximately the ACPC rank needed to take admission in this college is between 6000-8000.

I choose Computer engineering as I wanted to get into it from the start and many of my friends and relatives referred to this college because of its highly qualified faculties and good campus and placements. the student teacher ratio is about 30:1 approx. The teaching method is very good. The term exam is semester wise but in between, they conduct midsemester and also teachers conduct small tests in between and finally there is the GTU examination.

We can do an internship from the 1st year itself and the college also provides us with some internship opportunities and we can apply to Internshala for the internship which has about 10000-20000/- stipend. Which is a very handsome amount. we can do an internship in our field as well as any other field in Internshala but in college, we only get the internship of our field.

The placement is good. The college trains us very well for interviews and group discussions etc. Students are eligible for on campus placement from the 3rd or 4th year but one can do off campus internships and placements. One can do an internship from the 1st year itself. Some of the top Companies that came during the campus recruitment drive are Mg motors, L&T etc. about 60-70 % of students get placement. After getting the degree I want to go abroad for masters. the average package is around 6lac per annum.

The Fees are very affordable in this college. If any student applies in the TFWS category in ACPC then a student can get a scholarship for free tuition fees that men's no tuition fees to be paid. The scholarship is very good you can apply in many governments as well as private scholarships. MYSY is the best scholarship for Gujarat students. In this scholarship, you will get 50% relaxation in the tuition fees.

The library is very good and we get all types of book in hard copy as well as soft copy. The sports and extra co curricular activities are also very nice. SVIT organizes many national level events like Prakarsh which is a national level tech event. And annual fest like Malhar and sports week also. In sports, the college supports us to go to competitions and all.
