I applied at Uttranchal University but as I am from the Nainital district and due to the coronavirus it was not safe to go out and stay at the hostel so for safety and convenience I chose the college that was near to the place where I live. I was provided with the quota which provides a 10% scholarship for the Uttarakhand residents. The admission criteria were minimum of 60% marks. For the admission process, I went to the office and was provided with the form to fill till certain date and deposit the money for admission, once I did, I was provided with the receipt and told to wait till I get a message about whether my admission is confirmed or not, once I got the confirmation, I was directed to pay the 1st-semester money within the given time to secure the seat and after submitting the fees I was admitted to the college.

I want to make my currier in the field of business that's why I chose this course. The ratio of faculty and students is quite balanced and it is easy to reach out to the teachers for any help/support. As for the qualifications, most of our teachers are well qualified and experienced, we have experienced teachers who have been teaching for a long time and knows how to use their knowledge for the benefit of students, the teaching methods that our faculty use are very easy to understand and help us get involved with the activities so that we can understand the topic deeply, teachers use presentation for the better understanding of the topic. We have 2 exams every semester- mid-term and end-term paper. The question paper prepared is quite detail-oriented so they can be a little tricky to solve but overall it's not very difficult to pass the exam.

It's my first year and I have not applied for an internship yet. I am planning to apply for the intership in the 2nd year and as far as I have heard from the people doing an internship, it is quite satisfactory.

The last semester students are eligible for campus placements and can take part in them if wants. Various companies like- Tata, Adobe, Amazon, Byjus and ICICI etc visits the campus regularly. The percentage of students getting placement is 60-75%. I want to appear for the SSC CPO exam after getting the degree.

The fee hikes 10% on a yearly basis which makes every other year costlier than the previous. The cost can be adjusted a little low as it is very expensive compared to other universities and the tuition fee is really high. The different scholarships provided by the University are- 10% scholarship for girls, different percentage of scholarship in accordance to the marks scored in the 12th, scholarship for children with military family background and scholarship for Uttarakhand residents, any student can apply for only any 2 scholarship at the time and the scholarship provided are only for the first year. No scholarship is provided for the rest of the years.

University held an annual fest every year in which singers are also invited according to the request of the children. The library is quite impressive with books on many topics/subject available, which makes it easier to access. All the subject books are available to the students by the college and books are always available. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted at regular intervals for the students so that students can engage in various activities.
