SMVDU

School of business center university I applied for, but when my brother told me that their placement is not good and companies don't come that much then I removed this college from my list. No quota was availed by me for admission in smvdu. if you want to take admission in smvdu you must need to have a minimum of 50% marks in your graduation and there is no age limit. To take admission here first we need to fill the admission form which is available on the smvdu official website and then we get shortlist on our mat or cat score and then get a seat in a MBA and there was no counseling day.

I chose MBA because my elder brother suggested I do this course as he works in an MNC, he told me that if I do this course I will be having more job opportunities. For 86 students there are 10 teachers, all the teachers here are MBA gold medalists and have done PhDs. I don't like the teaching method of some teachers we have, exams are on time but our session started late as compared to other colleges

Most of the companies we work in, give us sales work while we are doing an internship in a company like ICIC AND SRIRAM, these are the companies that come in SMVDU and provide internship opportunities in their company. The stipend they provide doesn't satisfy. For clarification of project and task, they organize 15 days induction program where they give clarity about our task.

After the completion of 2 semesters, we are eligible for on-campus placement and after the 2 sems, companies also start coming to smvdu . ICICI, SRIRAM, Berger, etc are the companies that come here. The highest package is 420000 and 320000 is the lowest package the companies provide here. 50-60% of students get placed and it totally depends upon the caliber of the students how they crack the interview. I want to work in an MBC and want to earn good money.

When I compare the fee of other colleges, the fee of SMVDU is a bit high. Whereas other colleges charge you only 50,000--75,000, they charge you 98,500 for one semester, and for people coming from lower-middle-class families, it will be an expensive degree for them. And course fee doesn't hike in smvdu No scholarship was availed by me in the smvdu

Titiksha is our tech fest, Tatva is our management fest, Resurgence is our cultural and sports fest these all happen in between the month of September to December. The library of smvdu is loaded with varieties of books and journals and we do have the latest editions of books and best thing is that the library is open 24hrs for the students. We have football, cricket, basketball, table tennis, badminton, teniss and for these sport, we do have separate specific playgrounds . For extracurricular activities, we do have an auditorium in smvdu. NSS and AVBP are the two social groups run by the students of smvdu.
