Remarks
I applied only for Indraprastha University as I wasn't interested in any other universities. I didn't apply for any quota. The admission criteria are simple to avail for any course in Indraprastha University everyone has to give a common entrance exam. In the counseling procedures, you have to fill in your top three preferences for your college and then the results come accordingly.
Course Curriculum Overview
I love socializing with people and that's why I opted for journalism. The faculty-student ratio is excellent in the college each and every subject has a separate teacher for the lab as well as for theory classes. All the teachers are highly qualified and use practical teaching methods by giving examples and experiences from daily life. The term exams were according to the procedure the syllabus was reduced so that the students don't feel much pressurized and it was easy to pass the examination
Internships Opportunities
The internships are excellent students get internships in their fields of interest such as photography, writing skills, anchor, etc. These internships help the students to broaden their perspective of journalism and mass communication and help them to explore other fields of interests
Placement Experience
From the second semester, students become eligible for internships but the placements start from the final year. 95% of students get their placement in renowned companies. My plans after getting the degree are to work either as a travel journalist or as an event manager.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is accessible as compared to other private institutions also our college has a quota for students facing financial problems at their home. Our college during the corona period helped the financially weaker students.
Campus Life
In lockdown, I haven't attended any fest offline but our college conducted all the important events offline for us they gave us freshers organized online competitions and it was great fun to attend them. There are many books available related to our curriculum in the library. The classrooms are well equipped with the excellent sitting capacity and air conditioning is also provided. Our school provides sports facilities like cricket, basketball, football, etc. There are a lot of societies or clubs for students that are run by students such as dance society, art society, fashion society, theatre club, eco-club, photography society, radio society, and many more
