MNNIT honest placement review

No, I haven't applied for any colleges as I got college from JOSAA counselling and it was my first priority to into MNNIT Allahabad. Yes, I availed quota of SC for admission. Minimum criteria was rank based of JEE mains. Computer science ranks were ranks were under 2000 and Other branches varied from 1500-10000

I wanted to opt for government firms as engineers and wanted to serve as IES. Student to faculty ratio was about 100:4 . There were enough faculties and teachers for help and teaching. Teachers teaches well and take regular quizzes and Exams even in vivid situations, Weekly quizzes were arranged in MS Teams. Exams were only two per semester. Mid semester and End semester and Labs plus weekly quizzes for testing knowledge and helped in improving quality.

Goldman Sachs, geeks for geeks, hacker earth , hacker rank, Microsoft etc comes college for internship and offer good stipend to students. Projects made were good and students got PPO's too. Many other companies came with decent internship opportunities and offered student of core branches to work under them like BHEL, ONGC and mechanical students grabbed to work under them for summer.

Companies like Microsoft, Colgate, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Nutanix, TCS, Wipro, Infosys attending the placement sessions and taking interns and freshers from IT branches and all other branches who are interested into IT. Tata steels, L&T and other companies come for taking students from core branches . 80% plus students gets places with 9-10lpa.total companies visited were about 128.

Fees are the least due to the SC category. The fees for General were about 2 lakh per year. Mukhya Mantri Madhavi chatra yojna was availed in my college as a scholarship which is a scholarship for Madhya Pradesh students who excel in JEE and High school. I have not got any job by college yet, I am still looking for some good opportunities about to come in the third year.

Two main fests is happening every year. Culrav and Avishkaar. There is more fest happening like swagat, Hack36, Ruksat, and many more. Social groups are anokhi pehel etc. Clubs take an active part in contests like Thalaiva, energy club, and a few more. Sports facilities are great and Inter nits and college are celebrated with pleasure. Everyone is motivated to participate in them

The hostel is good for all years. Tv rooms, Table tennis, night canteen, badminton court, etc facilities are good. Lifts are provided to carry between floors. Rooms have study tables, beds, fans and lights and a good facility for the mess. Mess quality is average to survive in the hostel. Sometimes it's quite uneatable due to taste, But most of the time it's eatable. Registeration process was even and helpful by the staff. They supported throughout the boarding and did their best to ease admission for everyone.
