All you need to know about Central University of Rajasthan

I applied for many engineering colleges but I finally chose CURaj because of its good nirf ranking and a wide variety of courses offered, I finally chose Integrated MSc in Chemistry and I am currently in 4th semester. Addmission process is extremely simple. First you have to appear for CUCET(Central University common entrance test) and qualify same to participate in counseling, that you have to wait for the university to open counselling and you have to participate in that online by registering into it and paying the 1st semester fees, security deposit and counselling fees, if you don't take addmission your total amount pain will be returned except the counseling fees. For counselling you have to visit the university located at Bandarsindri, near Kishangarh in Ajmer district, Rajasthan and finalize your addmission process.

I chose this course as it is an integrated program and I don't need to appear for the exam again at the time of MSc so it was a benefit for me. Each department has quite a good no of faculty, from assistant professor to Hod all are very cooperative and qualified, but student to faculty ratio is quite high. After the commencement of the semester in every 1.5 months there are exams, 1st internal, 2nd internal, and finally the end of semester exam.

Mostly marketing internships are offered and the internships offered are also very frequent, internships are offered in collaboration with Internshala and the stipend depends on the company and performance of the student in his job/project. No core job or internship is offered.

Fees are extremely low comparing with any other institute as it is a government college and a major part is funded by the government. Anyone can afford this university's fees as it is just 3550 INR for one semester, and you are a category student then you can get an additional scholarship according to your family's financial condition.

In the room, each student is given one table one chair and one bed, for storage one almirah is given between two students. Hostels do not have a cooling facility in rooms. Bathroom and washroom facilities are common for the floor and are not attached to the room, for water every floor has two water coolers with an RO facility. Students have the facility to stay in a hostel or can rent a PG in the nearby city Kishangarh which is 30 min away from the college. The mess is totally vegetarian and food quality is also good with a variety in the menu.
