CET Karnataka. My Rank is 3169. The college was Government aided college. It had a good reputation hence I opted for that college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was good. The college was affiliated to Visweswaraiah Technological University. The course included all latest technologies and market trends. New courses like digital signal processing etc were added to the course. The mobile technology also was added to the course.
Internships Opportunities
As far as I know they don't provide internship. I don't know the trend now. There were some PG courses with very nominal fee.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities were good. The placement officer was good and co-ordination well with the companies. All India IT industry giants like TCS,Infosys ad Wipro were recruiting the students. The salary also very good. More than 50% were getting campus recruited.
College Events
There were two main events caled Jamboree and Malnad fest. Both were very eventful. They had science club and technology club as well. Students were enthusiastic ad participating in the events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was good ad nominal. I got the seat in merit a my fees was less than 6000 /year. The hostel facility also very good ad we use to get 800-1000/month. There was no hidden fee or additional fee. This is the government aided college hence fees was not high.
Fees and Financial Aid
The loan facility were offered from banks. As I mentioned earlier there was no scholarship from college side. However the fees was nominal hence it was not a burden to students.
Campus Life
The gender ration is 50:50. There were lot of opportunities on workshops ,labs and sport. The students are allowed to spend time at labs more than the allocated time. Student could use this time to gain the knowledge and be up to date with the technologies.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is good. the students helping the college to improve the infrastructure and build the new reputation. There was yearly meeting of the students and they were helping the college.
Exam Structure
The exam structure was good. We had 3 internals which would assess the students. We had the semester exams with the right gaps for study. The library was open for 24X7 and helping the students to spend night at library after reading.
Admission
We have chosen this college during the CET counselling process. Then we had to come to Hassan and the process at college was very smooth. There was not a huge queue. The staff are very helpful ad guiding properly. The fees also nominal the process is seamless.
Faculty
The faculty were good. They were guiding the students properly to achieve the goals. In the lab also they were guiding the students properly and helping the students. The faculties are up to date with technologies and were learning new technology and teaching the students.
