Exams accepted - IEMJEE. University of Engineering and Management along with the Institute of Engineering and Management conducts the exam every year. It is conducted for admission to B.Tech/BBA/BCA/B.Sc/B.Com/BPT/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc/MBA and similar courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
In terms of academics, the curriculum is well-updated and revised timely according to the needs. The curriculum is designed in such a way that one gets practical experience in whatever domain he/she is. The college started to provide dual major specialization for MBA students.
Internships Opportunities
College helps students with their internship and also helps those who cannot find one. Here students undergo three internships during their course. Most of the internships provide a stipend. Well, the stipend depends upon the kind of internship. Internships were offered Capital Box, HDB, Financial services, Genpact, etc. with the amount of stipend ranging from 5,000 to 20,000.
Placement Experience
Placement is one of the most crucial points of higher education. UEM is in the front row to provide placements for the students to prove their skills and talent in front of hirers. Placements are becoming good and good each year. More companies are visiting and the placement cell is very active here and keeps track of all students for their placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
MBA fee - 99,000/- for the first year, College offers scholarships on the basis of merits and percentages. And also offer a scholarship if any student need, he/she will get. 100% scholarship - 95% or above it, 50% scholarship - 90% or above it, Even in the time of COVID, our college introduced a full scholarship program to the students who lost their parents in the pandemic. The college has given full tuition waiver scholarships to 86 students (in addition to normal scholarship grants and fellowships) who have lost one or both parents in the Covid-19 pandemic.
Campus Life
The campus life at UEM is great. You'll have great experiences that are comparable to none! The seniors are super-friendly and supportive. In general, everyone is open to each other. We also have a "No Ragging Policy" which is implemented very strictly by the college authorities. Yes, there are clubs and committees.
Interview Experience
As far as my admission to MBA is considered, it was based upon merit and percentages obtained in the entrance exam. And there was a personal interview. I had been asked about my academic background and about why do I want to pursue MBA. Yes, there were some general questions as well.
