Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology offering 28 courses in a total of 6 different streams. Undergraduate programs offered by the institute are B.Tech, B.Pharm, BSc, and post-graduate programs offered by the college are Mtech, MBA, MPharm. I took admission in Btech in the ECE branch. Candidates must pass (10+2) with a minimum of 60% and should have a valid UPSEE score.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took admission to the ECE branch. I choose this branch because this branch has a great scope in the future. One can make a bright future in this branch. All the faculy of the college are well qualified and very helpful. Most of the faculty are PH.D. We have around 40 teachers in our department. The student-to-teacher ratio is 50:1. The course curriculum is relevant for all the students. The college conducts two times Sessional and PUT before the external exams. If the student gets fewer marks in Sessionals then extra classes are also conducted by the teachers.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides industrial training to every branch. During the summer break our college organize special program for students where they teach about a certain tool of tech in detail of students choice and it holds a weightage as equal to an internship.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are very good It totally depends on student calibur. Many companies visited the campus every year like TCS, Wipro, Samsung etc. College also provides the internship with collaboration with different companies. Indian Army and Airforce also offer jobs to mietens.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are nearly 1 lakh 25 thousand every year exclude hostel, mess, and college bus service if you are from local. College offers great services for students so it's kinda value for money. State government scholarship forms are available every year. And nearly 75% of students get scholarships.
Campus Life
KOLAHAL is the annual fest of our college and there are many tech fests organized by the several core committees that are Robochamps and Rangotsav. Availability of books and journals is good in the library. There are different libraries for all the departments. There is also a sports clubs for girls and boys.
