College life at NDIM

The colleges I applied for were JIMS and XIME Bangalore. The reason was NDIM is better in Marketing specialization. No quota availed. The admission requirements for admission was above 50% in graduation and a minimum of 75% in MAT. The prospectus was provided to all respective candidates and a pass for gd pannel was also given.

The PGDM provides hands-on practical exposure and theoretical knowledge. 1 mentor for every 30 students approx. Teachers are doctorates of their respective domains and they are very helpful both in and after college hours. The exam is taken on time and the questions asked are applied questions.

Due to the pandemic, the rush of doing an internship in the Marketing domain is not felt but companies came and provided work, daily work include sales, generating reports and researches. Weekly projects are given by the companies and those have to be done at a stipulated time.

The college provides campus placement, the star companies recruiting are Dabur, ICICI, Bajaj Alliance, Deloitte etc. The highest-paid package was 14 lakh and the average CTC is 5 lakh. Recently 80% of our seniors got placed and companies are still coming for recruitment.

No such scholarship is provided by the college, the fees are low compared to other PGDM providing college. 80% of the student of the batch 2019-2021 got placed and the maximum students of batch 2020-2022 are doing a full-time internship with reputated companies.

There are lots of activities done by the college side. Entrepreneurs cell is the centre of attraction as students participating in the club gets to know how to set up their own business. There are weekly events done by the college side including international speaker sharing their views.

Due to covid 19 pandemic couldn't enjoy the hostel Life but college does provide accommodation, though it is not in campus the service provided is good. The hostel rooms are double sharing with a common TV and wifi.

Every student eligible to fill the form has to undertake interviews and GD. The GD part as good as it was taken in a formal setup and topics were related to market trends, international news and abstract topics were also done. No written test is taken.
