My college experience

Institute of management science was the college I applied to earlier but didn't provide a placement that much. I didn't avail any quota for admission in SMVDU. For taking admission in the MBA program we need to have a minimum of 50% marks in our graduation and there is no age limit to take admission here. First we need to fill the admission form first from the SMVDU official website and then our name gets shortlist and then we get the offer letter from the SMVDU.

After the completion of graduation, I got nothing to do so I choosed MBA DEGREE and this degree have good value in the market will boost my career. There is 8 teacher over 86 student in our batch. Their teaching method is not upto the mark. It is very difficult to pass the exam and they give alot of stress and doesn't give any day off in the between the exams days and exam are conducting on time here.

ICICI, Prescon, Sriram are the companies that come here and provide internship opportunities. HR, Marketing and sales are the roles of the student. For the clarity of work and project, they organise a proper induction program for the interns.

After the completion of 2 semesters, we are eligible for on-campus placement in SMVDU. ICICI, Prescon, Times Group of India, Sriram are the companies that come here. The highest package 380000 and the lowest package 250000. 50-60% of students get placed here in SMVDU. I'll start my own venture.

The cost of DOING MBA COURSE from SMVDU is Rs 394000 for 4 semesters and if you avail hostel facilities then it will cost around Rs 480000 something rupees to you which is a bit expensive when you compare it with the other college even Chandigarh university is charging 80000 per sem who have better placement then SMVDU. No scholarship availed by me in the SMVDU or got the job opportunity on campus with a stipend.

Titiksha is SMVDU's tech fest featuring events and competitions at all Indian level. Tatva is SMVDU's management fest managed by management students and in which students of other institutes are invited. The fests are organised in the month of December. In the SMVDU library, we have almost the latest editions of all the course books and journal. There is a specific playground for the specific sport on the campus for example for basketball there is a basketball court and for extracurricular activities, there is a big auditorium on the campus. NSS and AVBP are the social groups run by the students.
