I applied for many colleges but SVIT was my first priority as I heard from the students who had passed out from there that the college has awesome teachers who have many years of experience and which is a benefit for engineering students as experience will make them more perfect. As I was not having a good score on my boards so I had to opt for a management quota to get admission. The college was providing many quotas for admission like management quota and NRI quota. The admission process was were simple as the students above the cutoff were given admission to a particular course. the students who got admission were asked to pay semester fees in atleast one week. Many of the students didnt got admission through the management quota too.

I opted for this course as the future will be all digitalized so opting for computer engineering was a bettter option for me. But the other courses are awesome too like electrical as it would be also beneficial to choose it. The faculty of our college are very understanding and support us at every step. Most of all the teacher have been graduated from a well known university also some have completed their masters and some of them have completed their phd in the particular field. The faculty student ratio is 1:4. We are having our mid sems pre gtu exams and viva time to time and their difficulty level is medium as a student who has studied well can pass the exam easily but vivas and submissions trouble alot.

Internships are not offered by the college but you have to find the company and internship if you want to work as an intern in the first two years in the third year the college itself saysto find for an internship and helps students to find a good company.

The final semester students are eligible for campus placements. L&T, TCS Linde and many well known companies of india visit the institute for placements. every year 60% students get placed into these companies. minimum 67 CGPA is required to get a good job with a good package. The highest package offered was 7lakh pa. and the average package is 3lakh pa.

The fees of the institute are reasonable and cheaper compared to other institutes. Any type of scholarship that has been introduced at national level or state level is been reported to the students timely so that students can be benefitted. Also the institute allows and encourage student to have an internship with and company and enhance their industrial qualities. Many well known industries come to college giving oppportunities to the students to work at their company.

The campus life is really enjoyable and the annual fest is awesome as many shows are organized and all students participate very enthusiastically. The tech fest prakarsh is organized every year at national where students of many institutes take part and learn new and adventurous things. Also the library is worth going to as it contains many books of different authors moreover they provide e books too. Every engineering book can be found in the college library. The clasrooms labs library reading hall and every place is airy and well ventilated. There is a sportsroom where students in free time can fresh up their minds and play indoor games. There is badminton court football and basketball court too and a ground for cricket to enhance physical activities of the young students of the institute.. There are many social groups clubs and websites run by the students to enhance communication skills and even in other activities too.
