I applied for colleges like Jai hind, Xavier's but didn't attend it because of accommodation being on the expensive side. The admission criteria for BA students are on the basis of merit( class 12th board marks).
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because Mithibai is known for its psychology department. And it has the best faculty for psychology. There is hands-on experience as well in the last year. There is a ratio of about 4:90. The faculty has very good professors with Ph.D. degrees and the teaching method is more practical than theoretical. There is an exam every six months. The paper is pretty moderate. And it's necessary for you to be updated regarding the world it adds to the bonus.
Placement Experience
From the fifth semester, they become eligible for placements. 80% of them get placed. But usually, people don't prefer jobs after a BA degree because it doesn't fetch you good money. One has to be specialized in a field to earn. There are plans to pursue masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The study cost is far less for aided courses. They are mostly government-aided. The rest of the courses which are unaided goes on the higher end. And there is a scholarship for girl students. Job for BA is not famous.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest conducted called kshitij in the month of December. And it's a very popular fest with celebrities invited each year. It is mostly a 3-4 days fest. There are games conducted in the daytime and concerts at night. There is an e-library and one can access it anytime and get various journals free of cost. The classroom is well furnished with AC and digital boards. There are sports events conducted monthly. There are various cultural groups, student councils which all are run by students.
