My experience at JSSATE NOIDA

Got admitted through the UPTU exam. The City of is high for this college. The admission process was smooth. You will find trouble while getting a college hostel as seats are limited. The teaching staff is mostly South Indian.

The first-year faculty was good. During the first year, all branches have common faculty members. CS department teachers are not good. This one teacher used to close-mic and chat for students during the class and read-only ppts in the class. There are sessionals every month. They are easy to pass.

College does not provide any internship opportunities. You have to find an internship yourself. Students get their internship on their own. As the college is in Noida, it is easy to get an internship in tech startups.

Placements are not that great. If you are from CS or IT branch you will get definitely get placed. Most of the service companies show up on campus with a maximum package of 6 LPA. Amazon came for on-campus placement last year. Few students were selected from the 4th year.

The fee is affordable. Rs 141000 was a 1st-year fee. The first-year fee is high because of the admission charges. I am in my second year. This year's fee is 112000. There is a hike in fees every year about 10 percent. University charges 8000 rs every year for exams. UP government provides scholarships to the students too.

Life at the campus is dull. Classes for the 2nd year start from 8:30 and lasts till 4:30 when there was no lockdown. College Library is good. It stays open till 7 pm on working days. There are social clubs. Small events like a treasure hunt on the campus and nukkad nataks by the Illuminati society do take place. A lot of restrictions and lack of faculty support is the reason for dull campus life.

There are 2 hostels for boys - ISH, the one with AC rooms, and BH with no AC rooms. There is one hostel of girls with both AC and non AC rooms in one building. In the boy's hostel, 3 people share one room. The rooms are spacious. You will have a lot of fun here. Food is bad in the hostel. Late-night food delivery is available at the campus hostel. Most of the students do not get a room here because of high demand.
