I applied for Government engineering college Ajmer because I wanted a Government college in Rajasthan and couldn't clear the cutoff of MBM college jodhpur. The admission criteria are simple you have to fill Reap which requires for JEE Mains score and 12th percentage. After filling the form you to add your preferences of Colleges along with the branch you want to opt for! After that results will be declared and you'll get to know which you are allotted and you have to report the allotted college on the assigned date with all the original documents for admission. Even if you don't get the branch you want to report the college and ask for branch changing which can be done even after the 1st semester.

I chose Civil engineering because I was very much interested in designing buildings' construction processes and their architecture and so no other field can fulfill this dream of mine. Talking about the Civil department of our college, our faculties are the young and the most enthusiastic teachers among the teachers of other departments. And so we had seminars and industrial visits for making us aware of the new technologies of our field. Most Of the teachers are Ph.D. holders while some are still doing their PhDs and so have a great command of the subjects they are teaching. Talking about the number there is no shortage of faculties in our department. Some teachers have a very unique way of teaching by practically doing that thing and explaining the concept while some teachers do not teach well and usually follow the lecture method which is why they are most hated in our department. Term exams usually happen on time & the Paper level is higher than what we are taught and so deep understanding is required.

There is no such company that comes to our college for taking interns it is up to the student from where they are doing an internship but it is a part of a curriculum to do an internship in the third year there for every student search for an internship on their own and also they need any information or help from college teachers provide that and one of the benefits of such thing is that every person can opt for an internship in a company of their own choice apart from there also in the first and second year we are forced to do training as a part of our semester Summer Internship or training according to your preferences need to be done for which we have to make reports and give updates to our assigned teachers.

Well in our department that is civil engineering most of the people don't sit for placement as they have prior plans of fighting for competitive papers or for doing Mtech in IIT Therefore opt for GATE and so there are very few companies that come for placement in our field but talking about other fields like cs and it there are many companies that visit our college and get peoples from there uh the highest paying package till date is around 300000 which is gained by a CS student and my plans after college is of doing Masters and so I am not thinking of placement.

Being a General student I was not at all eligible for any scholarship or financial assistance is given by our college. While talking about the fee structure is not too high as it is in other private colleges it is fine which is around approximately 35000 per semester and so will the cost structure accounts for around 300000. But if you are EWS or Muslim there are some financial assistance scholarship you can get. And as our college fall under the TEQUIP project we get full financial support for attending workshops, events, presenting research papers, and the cost of making models or learning a new skill is provided.

Technosav is the annual technical festival that is held in GECA where there are various workshops, events, seminars related to programming and other branches are included. Apart from this we also have combat which is our sports festival where students get involved in different Sports like Kho kho, volleyball, cricket, table tennis, badminton, etc. The campus of our college is good and canteen is not all worth the prices are low but quality and taste are not there and Library of a college is huge and contains lots of books but new journals are not there. The area of a college is quite large but is not at all developed and so you'll find unwanted weeds growing here and there. Classrooms are big and contain smart boards for teaching also labs have the best of the equipment and there are also some seminar halls but there is no Auditorium in our college. You can find clubs as per your interest like literary club Aarya( most active club), AAvishkar the technical club, Aaroh performing arts club.
