I did apply for many colleges but since I got Ruia, I took admission in there without any second thought. My selection was done on a reservation basis i.e. OBC caste. Admission forms were filed online, names of selected students were displayed on the website and then were called for interview sessions which were quite informal and easy . There was a counseling program held by the college for the students with parents.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course just because of my liking of the media field. There is a unique teacher for each and every subject in each semester. Every teacher is a market professional and their teaching method involves 30% theory and 70% practical. There is one written exam conducted per semester preceded by an internal exam. It was very easy to pass if a student is consistent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of the course don't exceed one lac rupees. So it's pretty much convenient to study. The college offers two scholarships, one by the government and one by a private organization. The government scholarships are as per the rule of government and offered as per caste categories. Private scholarships are offered to students on the basis of their merit.
Campus Life
The campus life at RUIA is the best. There is an annual fest conducted once a year, apart from these department fests go all round the year. The libraries and laboratories are extremely sound and well equipped with lots of space. The classrooms are good enough too and digitally equipped. Sports and cultural activities also have a boost in the college and the college always encourages talent. There are numerous units of students which function for social interaction and one can always be a part of it and learn values.
