JSS is a great college

I have applied to JSS ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION, NOIDA, Galgotias University and KIET for the mechanical branch. JSS was my priority due to its great location (many PSU's and Samsung company is nearby and MadeEasy coaching centre is also near). The minimum UPSEE rank to get a Mechanical branch was 14000. No specified age limit. You can also get admission through JEE mains rank/marks and also direct admission through the Management quota. Management quota fee depends on your UPSEE/JEEmains rank/marks. Roughly it is around 1 to 3 lakh for the mechanical branch. The admission process is simple to take all the documents as mentioned on the AKTU website. And u will be admitted within hours and you will also get your ID card then and there in the college.

I choose mechanical due to my passion and interest. Student faculty ratio is quite good i.e. 1 teacher on 25 to 40 students. Almost all teacher are well qualified. Most of teacher's teaching method is very good with few exceptions. Exams are being conducted on time passing the exams is a bit difficult.

There are lot of internship opportunities available at the college. You may get industrial exposure through internships. You can also learn manufacturing within the college itself. Also college will provide the letter of recommendation very easily if you want to apply for the any industry outside the scope of the college.

From the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Companys visiting are Amazon, Coforge and many more. The highest package from the mechanical branch was above 20 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 3 lakhs per annum. Above 50% student get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to crack the IES exam.

There is not too much of fees hike instead they have taken very reasonable and much fewer hostel fees than any other private technical institution. Cost to study is the standard price compared to all other private technical institutions. You can apply for the UP scholarship provided by the state government and will gate a scholarship of about 50000 to 60000. There are no campus jobs.

Life at the college campus is very happening. Zealicon is the well known annual technical fest of the Noida region conducted in our college in the month of April. There is the availability of a wide range of books and journals in the library. Amenities in the classroom are just as is necessary for normal study. We also have a major sports event called MYTHRI and several other mini sports events. There are many social groups run by students for the students like Twowaits, InfoConnect etc.

The facilities provided in the campus hostel room are excellent. There are both Ac and non-ac hostels(separately) for boys and girls(joint). You get a bed with a bunker, an almirah and a beautiful long table with lights and plucks for convenience. There are 3-bed in one room and a common bathroom on each floor in non-Ac hostel and room combined with bathroom in AC hostel. The registration process is simple just fill the form pay the fee is a good ranker and get to the hostel.
