Remarks

There was a minimum 50% marks requirements in bachelor to apply for the MBA program. The admission process was in two steps. Entrance Test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The total marks were divided into 170 marks for the entrance test and 30 for GDPI.

Course Curriculum Overview

We are pursuing a semester program and due to the pandemic, we have lost around 6 months in our 1st year so the 1st semester was completed in 3 months and second semester classes will also be winded up in 3 months. In total course duration, there is a midterm exam of 25 marks conducted 2months after the beginning of the semester and final exam conducted at the end of 3months. It was an online exam so it was not difficult to pass.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 36000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We are getting most of the internship opportunities in marketing and selling due to pandemic and work from home situation. Apart from that, some good Internship opportunities are also coming. But still, we are getting full support from our placement cell.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is very active and helpful either it is an Internship or final placement. We got very good companies and packages too. One of our seniors recruited in a company with a 6 LPA package. We also get higher packages too

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very nominal. We are provided with expert faculties and other facilities so the fees should be very high but instead of all advantages, fees is very nominal . The 1sr year fees in our course is only 36000.

Campus Life

Since our admission, we are pursuing online classes , so We don't have college inside environment experience but the seniors are very co-operative and supportive. We have clubs and placement coordinators to help us in our study and placement need.

Interview Experience

Yes, the Entrance Test consists 5 section covering Arithmetic, Data Interpretation, Reasoning, English and General Awareness each section carrying 34 marks. The GDPI was of 30 marks. The latter was not very difficult. Our GD topic was the pros and cons of Work from Home.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Jamia internships are very helpful

Yes I also apply in nit Uttrakhand and i got admission there but i choose jamia milla islamia because of there location and there better ranking in world. I didn't get rejection from nit Uttrakhand jamia is my choice. For admission first you have to qualify jee mains exam after that you have to fill online application form of jamia millia islamia then 7 or 8 days later a list is published by the university if your rank is good enough for jamia you will get admission there....Read More

First of all. Jamia millia is not an college. Its an central university. And i choose it because of their faculty and infrastructure and also for that jamia has 4th top university among all indian university in NIRF rankings. But i also applied for maulana azad college delhi (MAMC) because of its top ranking medical college. But jamia is now good. Admission process:- Eligibility:- you have to crack NEET exam conducted by NTA. After result you have to participate in counseling and in choice filling process you have to apply for this college at mcc portal. Then if you allot jamia millia islamia university delhi then you have to come jamia campus for Admission process. Totally offline process.
