Remarks

I applied for many nits as well but not attended because of not enough rank in JEE Main. You have a minimum of 98 percentile for this program in HBTU. I availed no quota. Counselling process was so easy just go to the college website and register for counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to do anything in the coding field I was very interested in this field that's why I joined this course. Maximum teachers are phd holders. There is midsem in every 3 months and end sem in every 5-6 months. The examination difficulty is good not so difficult.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like google Microsoft visiting our college every year. Currently, I am in first-year that's why I do not know more about this area but I do know that everything is good in this college if you really want to do something.

Placement Experience

After a 6th-semester student is eligible for placement. Companies like google Microsoft visiting here and there are so many offers that they offering. The highest package 43.5 lakh. The average 10 lakhs. Placement percentage is around 90+. First of all, I will do my job for some years and after that, I will think of another.

Fees and Financial Aid

135000 per year and increases 10% every year. 25000 hostel fee per year. 18000 mess fee per semester. There is a scholarship for SC/ST full concession of tution fee for them. And there is a scholarship by up government too for those whose family income is less than 2 lakhs.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good we are enjoying very much hostels are also so good. Many fests occur here. There are so many books in our library. The classroom is also good. There is every sport in which you can participate.

Hostel Facilities

There are so many hostels in our college for both girls and boys. They are in very good condition. All staff members are very caring and of good nature. The registration process is so easy they provide forms for that and you have to fill them.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
