Remarks

I had applied to Sri Krishna Arts And Science College. I had visited its trust office in a place named Kovaipudur. They asked me for my details including my 10th-grade marks and they said once the interview session starts they ping me up and they did. They had called me after my 12 th grade results had come up. I attended the interview with a copy of my 12th mark sheet and the interviewer was impressed seeing my grades in each subject. They were accepting 85% and above students for this course. The interview went well in a smooth manner then they had asked me to fill the application form and first semester fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had chosen B.com as I wanted to pursue MBA. The faculty have really good, they had knowledge regarding the subject they are handling and the teachers are well qualified for the post. In General B.com first year in which I was part of had faculty for each subject and those faculty used to teach students in the General B.com department only. We had 3 internal exams and one semester, two exams happened on alternative month after joining one was on completion of the first month and the other on the third month and the third internals happened just before the semester and had set paper exactly like the semester one to give us the feeling of the difficulty level. All my exams till this point had been online one and it has been smooth and the difficulty of the paper was normal not too hard or easy.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I have no idea about the internship part as I have not been to college yet but hoping to attend it soon and take part in internships. From what I have heard many internships have been offered to students depending on their interest in the field they want to pursue.

Placement Experience

2.5

There have been a lot of companies in which the pass out students have been placed. A student gets to appear in these interviews if they have scored a minimum of 60% in each semester before the interview. Deloitte, Tata consultancy, IBM, Focus Edumatics, Infosys, Accenture, and many more. I have just finished my first year so I have not received any placement yet but came to know that 2020 students got placement from the 2019-2020 batch. A minimum of 2 students has at least been placed in each company that had come for an interview. My plans after getting the degree are to do my post-graduation (MBA)

Fees and Financial Aid

There has not been any fee hike till this point and the fee structure was reasonable. I did not ain any scholarship or financial assistance. As I have just finished my first year I haven't received any such job offer till this point.

Campus Life

2.5

I have not been to my campus because of Covid, but the information I compiled from seniors gave me a good impression on the campus as the campus environment was always clean gave a positive atmosphere and they had a lot of amenities, extracurricular activities, and sports. They had also different clubs which one could join according to their interest. I had joined NSS (National Service scheme)club. I had chat with the seniors who were a part of the club they were very friendly to us. Even without stepping out of the house, there are a lot of ways a person could help is what knowledge I gained because they helped many people who needed blood donation by contacting different donors and taught us the way to do that.

Interview Experience

4

I had to face an interview in which they asked me the reason to join General B.com over the other specialization and few questions related to accounts as it was an important subject in General B.com. I did not prepare much for this I was just open out and had a free flow interview and spoke to the interviewer about my interest that's how easy was the interview.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
