Remarks
The admission process was done offline, and hence amidst covid, it was a bit of a hassle. There wasn't any social distancing observed on the day of registration. The counseling happened online, through multiple rounds, and in the end, based on merit, the college was allotted as per AKTU.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams were timely, and we're notified of them only a few days before (now online, we're notified a day before our internal exams. The external exams are conducted under good supervision. Passing is easy, but scoring a good CGPA is difficult especially since AKTU always gives you fewer marks than you deserve. (Almost always).
Internships Opportunities
College provides you with assistance when it comes to internships, even though you have to look for them yourself. There aren't many internship opportunities the placement cell provides, but the student council does a great job at it.
Placement Experience
Amazon visited the college last year, so there is no absence of talent here. The placements for CS and IT are good, while that of core branches is satisfactory. My plans after getting the degree are either to apply for an offline placement or starting a business of my own.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since I am a first-year student, I haven't gotten any job. But financial assistance is easily provided to students since the college is AKTU affiliated. Scholarships are easily provided, and the annual fee is also less as compared to other private BTech colleges.
Campus Life
The social life on the campus is amazing. Every club and society has an annual fest and so throughout the year, the college is buzzing around with activity. The annual fest of our college is college Unifest, and many famous actors, singers, and other famous personalities are invited every year. The library is equipped with books related to the syllabus. It isn't extraordinary, but it works. The classrooms are satisfactory, again can't expect that great of facilities, but they aren't that bad either. The college has sports clubs and annual sports events which are amazing. Some societies of college are Lingo Freaks (Literary), Creative team (Graphic Design and Video Editing), Management society, Chitrashala (art), Enthiran (Robotics), Sponsorship and Loop (Coding)
