Dean Of Student Welfare show regional bias and do not help students from other states. Regular word-fights are common between students from Karnataka and from other states. Non teaching staff are not helpful and even bus driver scolds each and every student who dare to question him about bus timings. College management is worst and they only come to sit in the air conditioned rooms the whole day. they seldom help a student in need. a student need man-power in the university to get his things done which are his basic right.

I took CUCET-2016 examination for the entrance into the college. my rank was 54 all over india and the course offered is information and communication technology which is a interdisciplinary course that helps me in future to get a job. that made me chose this college.

As the course i chose is integrated engineering, the course structure is of 5 years which consists of 10 semesters. the first two years of course is same for all the students in engineering department. then , they will be sorted out to their respective departments. the course syllabus is made by some of the professors from IIT's and NIT's. so far , course structure seems good and students are allowed to choose electives from their third year. they can choose any subjects from the given.

No internships are being provided by the college so far. they may provide them in future but not now. the initial steps are taken to do the same and it takes time.

Till now, no student got placed since the first batch is still in its fourth year. but , placement cell is formed and the steps are being taken to get every student placed in some of the best companies. all the details of each and every student is taken and the mentor for the placement cell is IIT BOMBAY. so, it should be good.

So many workshops are conducted every year in school of engineering, central university of karnataka some fests like ANKUR by university and AKYUTHA by school of business studies are conducted every year. No tech-fest is conducted so far by engineering department but plans are being made to conduct.

Fees structure is good and is affordable by all fees is paid semester wise and fees is not so high compared to any of the private colleges so far 33,300 rupees is collected as the tuition fees every semester and hostel fees is 15,000 rupees fro semester.

The top 20% merit students of each class is awarded FREESHIP in which the whole tuition fees paid is returned to the student so many scholarships and fee waiver schemes are available to girls and to students from backward classes.

Campus life is not so good but not bad either. the construction work for so many permanent buildings for the departments is going on and security problem is there for girls at night. there are so many restrictions for girls especially. no playground is there, no proper labs are there, no debates are conducted and even there is no proper communication between the administration and students.

Hostel rooms are sharing rooms. each room is shared by four people. in permanent hostels, each room has its own bathroom and toilet. but in permanent hostel, rooms are very less and even rooms given in temporary hostels are not sufficient to accommodate all the university students. hostel rooms are allotted in first-come first-serve basis. even there are no PG hostels nearby. one should go to gulbarga city for any type of accommodation which is far away from university.

No alumni is there yet, but seniors are most helpful in the university in the beginning, they seem rude and unhelpful but they will be the ones to help us at ever step they take us into their rooms if we didn't get hostel, they help us doing projects and whatnot they take care us as they are our own siblings they help us choose projects etc.

For every semester,there will be two internals and one external examinations the internal examinations will be conducted by the concerned subject teachers and the externals will be conducted by the university board the cumulative score will be given and the toppers will be decided accordingly. the schedule is not so hectic but constant work is needed.

The admission is given through three processes. one is through K-CET,which is conducted by karnataka government.another way is through IIT-JEE and other way is through CUCET. The merit list for the applicants is put on the website and students are supposed to attend the interview process where the students are asked to submit their documents i.e. marksheets of class10 and 12, birth certificate etc. then , they give the admission and admit card is given to you.

Faculty of the college are very good and they help us in all the way possible the only man who is supposed to help the students and not doing it is DEAN OF STUDENT WELFARE. except him, all the faculty is very good and is very well read in their respective subjects.
