I took EAMCET and I secured 10688 rank, I am passionate about mechanical Engineering and this college is one of the best for Mechanical Engineering course in our region. So,I opted to join in this college.

The course is divided into 8 semesters(4 years with 2 semesters per year).First year of the course contains subjects that are common of all the Branches i.e General Engineering subjects like Engineering Physics,Mathematics and Chemistry with computer subjects.

The internships are few and almost zero for the B.tech students.The college don't have much tie-ups with companies so forth the internships wont come.But if any student got any internship he is free to work for that.The stipends provided by the companies very much less for an intern and it ranges between RS.3000-6000 per month.

The Placements in the college is average. Mostly IT companies visit the college for recruitment and in campus placements are less in the college.

Many events will happen frequently in the college premises like seminars,Technical festivals. BECTAGON is the official name of the Technical and Cultural festival takes place every year in the college. Students from the other colleges will attend and participate in different competitions. The college staff organises and coordinates with the students to make it a success.

The fees is based on the type of seat you secured here. It is divided two types via Admission council and management seat. The fee for a student who secured seat through admission council is around Rs 30000 to 40000 and via management is around 1 Lac rupees to 1.5 rupees. Students from backward classes can get fee waiver option from the government.

The college provides Scholarship from the government for the backward class students with a full fee waiver for some classes and a part of fee waiver for some other castes.And students different castes can obtain stipends from that caste welfare societies.

The college has almost equal gender ratio. In the college caste based student communities are formed among themselves and each caste tries to dominate other caste people. Caste based parties and get together will happen frequently out side the college. They often celebrate birthdays of their community leaders and many students participate in them.

The college do has a official Alumni network and many senior students are present in the network.The senior students were very helpful and they do help to provide some guidance to the junior students .They also help to secure some job.

In a semester we have internal exams and a final external semester exam. Internal exams include descriptive type and labs also. Descriptive type exams were divided in to Assignment exams and Mid term exams. 40% of the internal exam marks were considered for the final score and 60% is from semester marks which is conducted at the end of semester curriculum.

The faculty in Bapatla Engineering college are experienced and it has most senior faculty also. The faculty are able to solve the students doubts and were very student friendly. The professors are very much interested to teach and even very much interested to demonstrate the course work in practicle.
