Remarks
I applied for BITS Pilani, symbiosis institute of technology, Manipal Institute of technology, and JECRC university. I didn't qualify for any of the institutions except for JECRC UNIVERSITY. The admission was simple, I had to register on the website and provide the details.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I have an interest in it. The faculty is cool and supportive. Most of them are NIT graduated and PHD scholars. Term exams were held a bit late due to lockdown, and they were moderately difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
Placements are getting close to 2000 offers every year. Following are some of our recruitment partners: Academia Guru,ATCS,BYJUS,Creditas,Diverse Web Strategy,HG Infra,K21 Academy, Pinnacle,Royal Orchid, Thrillophilia, Wipro,Accenture, Infosys (InfyTQ),Deloitte,ZS Associates,Neos Alpha, VrindaSoftwares, J K Cement,Baba Automobiles,Briskmind, Marvel Infosoft,Just Dial,Capgemini, If I talk about Average package- 4.5 lakhs and Highest package- 30 lakhs, I plan on applying for government jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
JECRC University is an expensive Institute Though students get scholarships based on their scores and early fee submission. I had received a 35% scholarship in my first semester. The students have to pay 1.85 lakhs even in the lockdown state. But the university is providing a waiver for students who have lost their parents during the pandemic.
Campus Life
The annual fest & tech fest- JECRC hosted the world's biggest innovation model Smart India Hackathon'20 on 1st of August 2020. JU RHYTHM'2020 on 27th February with utmost enthusiasm and zeal. JECRC University organized the 8th edition of Wonder of Words'20 (WOW'20) from 23rd January to 27th January 2020. Amenities in classrooms- Living in Campus- University has apartment style -three private single occupancy rooms with wardrobe, study table with chair open into a common living room equipped with a television set (Optional in AC Rooms only) and the rooms are WIFI enabled. Recreational Facilities- The University has provided for sports enthusiasts a well equipped Gymnasium, Football ground, Basket Ball court, Volley ball court, Badminton court and indoor facility for Table tennis.
Hostel Facilities
University has apartment-style -three private single occupancy rooms with wardrobe, study table with chair open into a common living room equipped with a television set (Optional in AC Rooms only) and the rooms are WIFI enabled. We have gymnasium and cafeteria too. The menu of the mess is very diverse. The taste is average though
