College is good, if you want to enjoy you can enjoy, if you want to study, you can study, it all depends on you. If college management works sincerely college can develop to a more reputed college

I appeared in UPSEE exam and i got 408 marks out of 600. I tooks admission in BIET jhansi because I heard that study environment is pretty good here because almost every student here has their own talents. I also has option to take admission in UIET chandigarh which is far better than this college.

Course structure is good. It start with basics to its peak and the course structure will be pretty in my later years of engineering. Some subjects are boring and some of them are really interesting the course structure will help in research as it starts from its basic.

No, our college doesn't provide any internship. You are on your on for any professional experience Some of the companies even have already blacklisted our college. So there is no chance of internship for any technical opportunity.

Like I said before some companies have even blacklisted our college which includes IT sector giant Tata Consulancy Services aka TCS but there are still some companies who visit our college on a regular basis. For core branchers like me the only option left is GATE or GRE or other competitive exams. So it is really necessary to study hard for students who took admission in core branches.

There are lot of events celebrated every year starting with Abhinandan(Freshers Party), then pace, utsav, in second semester. Small events like poster makings, sports events are common here. You can participate in any event you like according to your choice.

It is an affordable institute. A middle class family can afford it. The expenses are not as high as compared to IIT's becuase it is situated in Ja small city, city of no malls or multiplexes where you can spend your money in the name of recreation. Still the govt, provides scholarship for the students who are from a poor background. For general candidates, the fees, including hostel is 69k+24k for my branch.

The scholarship is provided by UP govt for students whose parents' annual income is less than 2 lacs. If we talk about Loan, then I think there is no need to take loan because it's a govt college and fee is really less as compared to all private colleges.

Campus life is good but do not expect malls, good theatres or anything like developed cities but Jhansi is clean and developing city. Campus is lush green and have lot of insects. Don't ask about gender ration. It's really drastic and it is about 10:1. Labs are OK OK. Sports is awesome.There are no competitions for events like robotics but there is competion for Counter Strike and it's good, you can have fun.

The mess food is above average in first year., but as I heard from seniors it is the best food among all hostel. The wi fi is not accessible in all rooms for first year but in later years of study, you will experience high speed internet there is no need for PG as there are a lot of rooms in hostel.

Seniors here are very helpful and even they developed a website named ODigos to help juniors to communicate and connect with seniors and you can find or download notes, test papers and places to visit in jhansi, gwaliors and nearby places.

As my college is affliated with AKTU, our overall marks are given in percentage instead of CGPA which is one of the greatest drawback of our college. Exam structure is OK OK. Exams are Exams, we just have to pass them the only thing you have to worry about are 2 CT's and and one semester exam per semester no other test is there in my college.

The notification was relesed by UPSEE in december. The applicatiion process was all online. So all you need to upload you credentioals and wait for the admit card in MArch. IF you got through the test succesfully you are called for the document verification, on the center alloted by AKTU. You can select a center by your convenience from the list revealed. At the center you will asked to fill the choice about the institution. After this processs councelling results are out. And you got to know which college you got. There are several rounds of councelling so you just need to wait for the college you want to get alloted to you.

As BIET jhansi is a GOVT. college. Faculty here is lazy and some of them never come to class and some are really regular and they don't even miss a single class. Faculty here is well educated but will not help you. Most of the teachers are guest faculty which are just M.Tech passed and which is very irritating.
