Remarks
I have applied for Mumbai university colleges and colleges that we are getting through JEE mains. I have used OBC Quota. It was one day process we had to register first to the counter assigned for it and we had to pay the fees through Demand draft to the campus bank. Also for mess fee, we had to pay that separately.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course was similar to the mechanical branch since I was not able to get the mechanical branch I chose this course. We had a ratio of 40:6 student to faculty as far as I know. There are all highly qualified with Ph.D. There were two semesters and two mid semesters a year.
Internships Opportunities
L&T infotech company - 18000. It was a technical internship but since mine was work from home we could not able to do much. There are different companies which provide stipend around 20000 to 50000 for software engineers.
Placement Experience
For 3rd year we are eligible to take an internship through campus placement. There are different companies for different branches. The average for production and industrial branch we have 5-6 CTC. Above 80 percentage students get good placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are lots of possibilities for scholarship also there is alumni fund possibility in case of financial problems. There are different fees for people belonging belongs to a different class quota- general OBC SC/ST.
Campus Life
We had a cultural annual fest and Avishkar the annual technical fest. We have Saturday and Sunday off. We have different sports committees ex the athlete team. We have different technical clubs ex aeroclub robotics club.
Hostel Facilities
The first-year hostel was very neat and clean. Rest are at average I would say. The registration process was very clean and easy to do. We can have a choice on hostel after the first year. I don't know about renting a home.
